The work of the Commission will be evidence-based. It is hoped that both individuals and organisations will want to contribute evidence to the Commission, and that contributions will come from both within the RE community and from outside it.
The Commission on Religious Education has launched a consultation on the interim report, Religious Education For All which will be open until 9.00am on 4th December. The call for evidence is available by following this link: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/CoREConsult1. A PDF of the full set of questions can be downloaded here to allow people to think about their responses before filling the call in online if they wish. You are not required to answer all of the questions in the consultation.
The commissioners are also inviting submissions of case studies from schools, advisers and organisations, of good practice in RE curriculum planning and teaching in primary and secondary schools. The deadline for case study submissions is 1st December. More information about this is available here.
If you have any questions about the consultation or submitting a case study, please email the Commission’s project manager, Jon Reynolds, at [email protected].
You may also write to the Commission and submit evidence using the contact form below.
If you would like to submit evidence in the form of attachments, please note that these should be in doc, docx, pdf or jpeg format, or in the form of a web-link submitted via the contact form. Attachments should not exceed 1MB in size.
