The Commission on Religious Education met on Monday 15 January at the Ismaili Centre in South Kensington. The commissioners considered the responses to the electronic consultation following the publication of its Interim Report in September 2017. They also discussed the meeting at Grey Coat Hospital School in December, where representatives from schools, other members of the profession, religious communities and representatives of non-religious worldviews met to respond to questions raised in the Interim Report. Before lunch, three primary teachers from Plymouth spoke to the Commissioners. A large part of the afternoon was spent discussing the proposed National Entitlement.
