Last Meeting of the Commission

The last meeting of Commission on Religious Education took place on Friday 20 July in the Jerusalem Chamber, Westminster Abbey. This room was the setting for the meetings of the translators of the King James Version of the Bible, the writing of the Presbyterian Westminster Confession and other significant event in British religious life. The meeting was ably chaired by the Dean of Westminster and it considered the changes to the text of the Final Report recommended by the residential meeting held in Limehouse on 25 and 26 June. The Final Report will be published in September.
